Scary Character Selection
The selection of zombie or infected human had proved to be a difficult one throughout the group. We had disadvantages and advantages about either one or will still have to come to conclusion about which is the scary killer or villain in our trailer.
Zombie
This would be very difficult to incorporate but could be very useful and have a big scary impact if we can, if we want to install maximum fear into our audience zombies would be the way to go I believe as the sheer fear of them and the iconographic idea of a zombie is very scary and that’s why it is used in hundreds of horror movies. The zombie would be very hard to produce though, as us teenage boys do not own the make-up technology to do so! Also we do not have enough money or time to create a lot of these “zombie like” actors to portray a real enough horror, if we get it wrong it could be comical along with the possible poor acting of a zombie.
Infected Human
This was rated the highest scariest killer on our audience research which may tip it this way as we can just dress a human in torn clothes and blood with a feisty persona and create just a scary killer as a zombie without the effort. This type of killer would be easier to create more of as we need a lot of infected humans as it will be the dominant specie in our trailer.
The decision is made through discussions and audience feedback to go for the infected human route as it will be cheaper, easier, more practical and just as scary if we put in time and effort.

Audience Selection
Target Audience Selection
Our target audience has been a tricky topic to suggest and choose, but through our questionnaire we have found out that it is 15-26 year old males. This is great news for the group as it will be an audience which is easily targeted. This is shown on the graph showing how over half of the group 15-26 and the chart of gender shows that nearly 75 people were male. These are the types of people who will be targeted and will be easy to do that through techniques we know as being part of the age group, and we know what interests males in that range of age.
This will also be good as we can be characters of that age range and the audience can relate to them and their reactions to the situations. They can relate to each character and be the funny one, serious one, the leader and so on.
